1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of CampusAssist ("the Service", "we", "the app"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, you have read and understood these Terms, and you consent to be bound by them.
2 Nature of the Service
CampusAssist is an independent, third-party web application. It is not affiliated with ICFAI, IBS, or any of their affiliates. The Service provides a user-friendly interface to view data that you are already authorised to access from your institution's SIS portal. We do not create, modify, or delete any data in the SIS system.
3 User Responsibilities
- You must only use your own SIS credentials. Using another person's credentials is strictly prohibited.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your SIS login details.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, automate, or abuse the Service.
- You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose under Indian law (IT Act 2000, IPC, DPDP Act 2023).
- You acknowledge that attendance data shown is sourced from SIS and may not always reflect the most current information.
4 Intellectual Property
The design, code, branding, and all original content of CampusAssist are owned by the developer (Surisetti.dev). Academic data displayed belongs to IFHE/IBS and respective students. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from CampusAssist's source code or design without written permission.
5 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability of data. Attendance percentages, marks, and CGPA shown are informational only — always verify with your official SIS portal for academic decisions.
6 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampusAssist and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service, including reliance on data displayed herein for academic, financial, or personal decisions.
7 SIS Access & Compliance
CampusAssist accesses SIS solely on behalf of each user using their own credentials. We operate as an authorised agent of the user for this purpose. We do not store sessions or scrape data in bulk. If IFHE or IBS requests us to modify or cease operation of the Service, we will comply promptly.
8 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
9 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For major changes, we will display a notice in the portal.
